I met McKinzie and her family on lovely summer Saturday at their home in Alki beach. The sun was very bright outdoors – so I set up a small portable studio at their living room and photographed the kids indoors. The second half of the shoot was in Lincoln park – where we arrived just in time to catch some lovely late afternoon sunlight – I loved the way the light fell on McKinzie’s hair and we got some gorgeous images. Later, we finished the day by catching the sunset on the beach.
